Within the Electrical Engineering team, the Electrical Engineer is responsible for delivering electrical engineering activities in accordance with project requirements, applicable railway standards, and internal engineering rules.
The role involves defining robust, secure, and reliable electrical solutions, managing engineering changes, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and acting as the technical interface with electrical equipment suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage equipment modifications (switchboards, substation control cabinets, supervision panels) following change processes
• Define reliable and secure electrical technical solutions
• Select electrical components in line with preferred parts lists and project needs
• Ensure compliance with railway standards (including EN 50343)
• Coordinate with architecture, systems, TCMS, and RAMS teams
• Act as the technical interface with electrical suppliers
• Support projects through strong engineering coordination and expertise
• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or similar
• Proven experience in railway electrical engineering
• Strong background in electrical components, wiring, systems, and train architectures
• Experience with digital engineering tools (E3, Ruplan, ELSA)
• Solid analytical skills and ability to work autonomously in multidisciplinary teams
• Clear communicator with internal stakeholders and suppliers
