With expertise spanning aerospace, automotive, transportation, telecommunications, financial services, and life sciences, we support clients in solving complex engineering challenges while accelerating innovation. Our teams combine deep technical knowledge with a hands‑on mindset, working collaboratively to drive measurable impact and operational excellence.

We are looking for a Senior Electronic Hardware Engineer to join our Product Development team in Lausanne. In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of reliable, high‑performance electronic systems used in advanced communication and sensing technologies. You will work within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, collaborating closely with experts in RF, systems engineering, mechanics, and embedded software.
This is a hands‑on engineering position ideal for someone who enjoys owning their work end‑to‑end, from requirements and architecture through design, testing, and release to production.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full development cycle of electronic boards, including requirements definition, architecture, schematic design, component selection, and documentation.
  • Design, develop, test, optimize, and integrate analog and mixed‑signal electronic circuits used in high‑reliability systems.
  • Oversee PCB design activities and contribute to layout reviews to ensure signal integrity, manufacturability, and compliance with design standards.
  • Perform prototype bring‑up, verification, and debugging using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and vector network analyzers.
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including RF engineers, mechanical designers, and embedded software developers.
  • Prepare and maintain design documentation, including design reports, test procedures, bill of materials, and production files.
  • Drive quality and reliability considerations such as Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, Testing, and Maintenance (DFM/DFA/DFT).
  • Support the industrialization and production transfer of hardware solutions.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in electronic hardware design within regulated or high‑demand environments such as aerospace, medical devices, automotive, or telecommunications.
  • Strong knowledge of schematic design, ideally using Altium Designer or a comparable CAD tool.
  • Proven experience with analog, mixed‑signal, and power electronics, including low‑noise, high‑current, and fast‑transient circuits.
  • Solid understanding of digital electronics and high‑speed interfaces.
  • Comfortable performing hands‑on laboratory testing and troubleshooting.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to work onsite in Lausanne at least 3 days per week.

Desired skills

  • Familiarity with simulation tools (e.g., LTspice, SIwave).
  • Experience working with mechanical teams using SolidWorks or similar tools.
  • Background collaborating with RF engineering or embedded firmware teams.
  • Exposure to phased array, high‑frequency systems, or communication hardware.
