Maintenance & Reliability Planning Lead

About the Role
We’re looking for an organized and resourceful Planning Lead to coordinate all maintenance and calibration (metrology) activities within our manufacturing environment. Acting as a central hub between internal technical teams and other departments, this position plays a vital role in ensuring optimal scheduling, efficient shutdown planning, and continuous process improvement.
You’ll be key in optimizing operations by improving planning tools, tracking KPIs, and enhancing interdepartmental collaboration. You’ll also step in to support other technical functions when required.
Your Main Missions
🔹 Operational Planning & Coordination
Serve as the primary liaison for other departments on all topics related to maintenance and metrology.
Anticipate resource needs and align planning with production and engineering stakeholders.
Organize cross-functional meetings and maintain proactive communication flows.
🔹 Scheduling Activities
Build, manage and adjust detailed weekly plans for maintenance and calibration.
Monitor plan execution in real-time and re-prioritize activities as needed.
Identify and propose workflow enhancements to improve responsiveness and reliability.
🔹 Annual Shutdown Management
Drive the preparation and execution of site shutdowns with all relevant stakeholders.
Create clear and realistic timelines, track progress, and adapt as needed.
Ensure high-level visibility and effective communication around shutdown progress.
🔹 Performance Monitoring & Analysis
Develop dashboards and indicators to evaluate activity execution and planning accuracy.
Analyze root causes of schedule deviations and collaborate on corrective actions.
Present monthly performance reviews and suggest continuous improvement initiatives.
🔹 Support Documentation & Compliance
Maintain internal references like training matrices, competency tracking, and documentation workflows.
Monitor the progress of CAPAs, deviations, and quality system actions.
Ensure all documentation activities align with compliance and quality standards.
🔹 Cross-functional Support
Act as a backup for the Technical Methods Specialist and the maintenance warehouse.
Provide occasional support to the Reliability & Engineering Manager on strategic topics.
Profile & Experience
Technical degree in engineering, maintenance, industrial systems, or similar.
At least 3 years of planning/scheduling experience in a GMP-regulated or pharmaceutical environment.
Strong working knowledge of CMMS tools and regulatory expectations (EU GMP, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, GAMP).
Experience with inspection readiness and audit processes is a plus.
Key Skills
Strong knowledge of maintenance operations and technical processes.
Analytical mindset with a good grasp of KPI building and dashboarding tools.
Capable of working cross-functionally and influencing without authority.
Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
Familiar with Lean methodologies, 5S, and visual management techniques.
Fluent in both French and English; comfortable with IT tools such as MS Project, ERP systems, and Office suite.
